ADMINISTRATION

General Administration is responsible for implementing the mission of the District, which is to be a self-governing community providing governmental services, public safety and recreational facilities for all residents.


Additional responsibilities include establishing standard operating procedures and innovative approaches that continuously improve departmental management and employee supported services through the District, operations in the general government, the water and sewer utility fund as well as oversight of the management team for the golf and restaurant operations.


The Utility Billing/Customer Service Division performs customer billing and collection services for District assessments, utility services, community center activities, construction permits, impact fees, notary services and other District activities. In addition, customer service personnel serve as the front line contact for most of the District Offices, including handling all incoming telephone calls and greeting residents and visitors at the front lobby. For our Hispanic residents, the District offices provide bilingual personnel to assist. The District offices are also responsible for keeping the files and records of the District following the State of Florida guidelines for file storage and retention.


The budget for General Administration includes funding for finance and accounting, human resources, customer service, legal services, planning services, the General Manager and the Board of Supervisors.
