Professional Experience
Retired 2005 as Senior Planner, Methods, Equipment and Development from General
Electric Company, Aircraft Engines Group, Lynn, MA. Professional career covered 40
years of progressive and diversified experience in planning, quality control, budget
management and productivity improvements.
Member Lean Manufacturing Processes Team chartered with creation and
improvements to facilitate cost management. Positions held included Cost Attainment
Administrator, Service Engineering Analyst, Data Evaluations Analyst and Engine
Assembly Methods, and Planning Supervisor.
Consultant who introduced and enhanced new data system to catalog quality
inspection equipment, created maintenance schedules, and established technical
personnel requirements and expense budget forecasting. Facilitated focus groups
to determine end-user expertise to minimize non-computer operator anxiety.
Consolidated large data system operation manuals into user-friendly quick reference
booklets to reduce computer anxiety.
