Sun n’ Lakes Improvement District Wins Safety Award -
Sun n’ Lakes Improvement District was recently recognized by their insurance company, Public Risk Management of Florida (PRM), for outstanding achievement in promoting workplace safety within their organization.
Annually, PRM identifies its top performing members who have made significant strides in preventing workplace accidents and who improve the wellbeing of their employees. This year Sun n’ Lakes Improvement District shines as one of our top performers for a small-sized entity.
We are please to announce Sun n’ Lakes Improvement District as winner of the “Most Improved Safety Achievement Award” for the greatest reduction of workplace injuries over the past policy year. With a workforce of 39, the employees of Sun n’ Lakes worked an average of 58,000 hours between workplace accidents; almost tripling their prior year’s average of 20,000 hours worked between accidents; cutting their injury rate by two-thirds.
