· Moved to Sun ‘n Lake in 2000.

Professional Experience
Retired in 1998 as Member of the Board of Directors and as Sr. Vice President,
International Division, Wilbur Smith Associates; an international consulting firm
specializing in transportation and urban development. Over a 32-year career with
the firm; served in a variety of technical and managerial positions. Directed
numerous comprehensive community development projects, both domestically and
abroad. Served as resident project manager for major projects in Nicaragua, Costa
Rica, Nigeria, Kenya and Egypt for such clients as the World Bank, The United
Nations, The U.S. Agency for International Development and various regional and
national governments. Directed a wide variety of projects for private clients, including
new town studies, second home and resort development, and market development.
Planner, Tri-County Regional Planning Commission, Michigan (1963-1965). Public
Administration Specialist, State of Michigan (1961-1963).
Academic
Asst. Professor, University of Tennessee Graduate School of Planning (1965-1967).
Visiting Lecturer at University of Pennsylvania, Clemson University and Michigan

Past Rotarian. Chairman, Planning Commission; Chairman, Park Commission, local
government, Michigan. Helped prepare community attitude survey for Sun ‘n Lake.
Prepared population and housing study for Sun ‘n Lake. Served on various ad hoc
committees for Sun ‘n Lake. Past member, Governor’s Seismic Safety Committee,
