New Year's Celebration Notice for Sun 'n Lake Residents

While there are no specified time constraints, we kindly request that residents be mindful of their neighbors throughout the festivities.

In our commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community, Sun 'n Lake has engaged the services of the Highlands County Sheriff's department. Law enforcement officers will be stationed at the district office for three days during the new year's celebration. They are well-informed about the legal and illegal aspects of fireworks usage.

Please be aware that setting off fireworks on district property, specifically the golf courses, is strictly prohibited by law. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this regulation.

This measure is undertaken to provide a secure environment for all residents and to promote an atmosphere of respect and consideration during the upcoming festivities.
